Story
I’ve spent my entire life pursuing health and fitness. As a lifelong athlete and chiropractor, I believed I understood what it took to stay healthy. But like many people, I discovered that getting older requires a different approach.
Like many people, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted my routine. My workouts became less consistent, and I found myself drinking alcohol almost every day. Over the course of about two years, I gained nearly 40 pounds. I felt sluggish, my energy declined, and every time I looked in the mirror, I hardly recognized the person looking back at me. Like so many others, I made excuses, convincing myself it was just “water retention” or that I’d get back on track someday.
That day finally came in 2024.
I reached a point where I was no longer willing to accept feeling unhealthy or settling for less than my best. I made the decision to train like an athlete again—not to chase perfection, but to become the healthiest version of myself.
The journey wasn’t quick, and it certainly wasn’t easy. There were setbacks, frustrating weeks when the scale refused to move, and times when I questioned whether I was making progress at all. But I kept learning, refining my approach, and trusting the process. Over time, the weight came off, my strength returned, my energy improved, and something unexpected happened—my skin looked healthier and more youthful as well.
People began asking what I was doing differently. They noticed the weight loss, but they also commented on how much younger and healthier I looked overall. The same questions came up again and again: “What’s your secret?” “How did you do it?” “What supplements are you taking?” “What do you eat?”
My answer was always the same: there wasn’t a secret.
There were no miracle supplements, detoxes, crash diets, or shortcuts. My results came from following evidence-based principles, staying consistent, and making sustainable lifestyle changes that anyone can learn.
Those conversations became the inspiration for the Ageless Performance Project.
Credentials
As a chiropractor specializing in rehabilitation and recovery, I understood the science behind exercise, nutrition, injury prevention, and performance. But knowledge alone wasn’t enough. I had to apply it consistently, adapt when progress stalled, and stay committed through the inevitable plateaus that come with any transformation.
Mission
I created the Ageless Performance Project to help people realize that getting older doesn’t mean accepting declining health, losing muscle, gaining unwanted weight, or feeling like your best years are behind you. Aging is inevitable, but how we age is influenced by the choices we make every day.
My mission is to separate science from hype and provide practical, evidence-based strategies that help people over 40 lose fat, build muscle, improve their health, and look and feel their best—without gimmicks or unrealistic promises.
Performance has no expiration date. No matter your age, it’s never too late to take control of your health, redefine what’s possible, and become stronger than you thought you could be.
I’m glad you’re here, and I hope this book becomes a valuable part of your own journey.
